Role in Journalism
Yearbook 2016-2017 People section editor
In the 2016-2017 year in journalism I served as the People Section editor. My job was to design and oversee the creation of the people pages, including school picture day.
I created 1/3 of the people section pages and helped pick up the slack by taking care of things that hadn't been done, despite the fact that they were not assigned to me.
For the index, I designed every letter and created the layout. I enjoyed my job as a people editor and met many new people because I had to look at their faces every day.
Yearbook 2017-2018 Editor In Chief
In this 2017-2018 year, I currently serve as an Editor In Chief of the yearbook. I have helped design and create our theme and the design of this yearbook.
This year we are celebrating the 100th volume of the yearbook and we have incorporated that into this yearbook with a mini-magazine, showing highlights from the past 100 volumes and 10 chapters.
This has been a tough journey but we hope the book will be a winner with its classical and simplistic design.
